Opening of a Nureyev studio at the ENB new building

English National Ballet and English National Ballet School are moving together to a new world-class home at London City Island. This transformational move will give unprecedented space to develop world-class artists and create outstanding ballets.
The new building has seven full-sized rehearsal studios as well as a five-storey, state-of-the-art production studio with a fly tower allowing for productions to be rehearsed with full set and lighting.
Named in recognition of the Company’s intertwined history with Rudolf Nureyev, the Company and Arsitic Director Tamara Roj are thrilled the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation decided to award a grand toward its fit out, continuing the generous support of our work from previous years. A vinyl plaque with the wording “Kindly supported by the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation” is currently being made and will be affixed inside in recognition where i will be seen by ENB dancers, visiting creatives and répétiteurs and members of the publi taking part in our engagement and dance classes in the studio.
