Film made in 1966 from the version of the ballet staged by Nureyev in 1964 for the Vienna State Opera Ballet. The only great ballet from the repertoire with the legendary couple captured on film. Costumes and scenery by Nicholas Georgiadis. Invaluable account of this version still in the repertoire of the Vienna State Opera Ballet (please note the dances in the third act have been cut).
