Evening “Rudolf Nureyev” – Opéra de Massy, France
Date: Sunday, January 26th at 4pm
Rediscover the great Pas de deux from Noureev’s choreographic repertoire.
A dancer of genius, Rudolf Nureyev marked the history of the Paris Opera Ballet by directing the company from 1983 to 1993, nurturing a whole generation of Étoiles and enriching the repertoire with his reinterpretations of Marius Petipa’s choreographies (Don Quixote, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet…).
Performed by the Opera’s young and emerging dancers, this evening is an opportunity to pay tribute to him and trace his artistic genius.
