This Gala was held to celebrate the company’s 35th anniversary, and was notable for the appearance of Alicia Alonso in the Adagio from Act II of Swan Lake, partnered by Jorge Esquivel. As well as those performing with Nureyev, listed below, other dancers appearing in the evening included Eleanor D’Antuono, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Ivan Nagy, Dennis Nahat and Noëlla Pontois.
