Nureyev and Friends
26 December 1974 to 25 January 1975
This was the American premiere of the Nureyev and Friends programme, in which Nureyev danced in each work at every performance, and which evolved into tours with changing programmes and dancers throughout many years. The programme had been tried out in Paris in June 1974. The last Nureyev and Friends tour finished in Australia in 1991. Details of each season/tour will be added to this database as they are confirmed.
At these first performances Nureyev was accompanied by guest artists and members of the Paul Taylor Dancers.
