Royal Ballet mixed programme
25 and 26 January 1973
The performance on 25 January 1973 was Nureyev’s debut in George Balanchine’s Prodigal Son. This performance also marked the first time The Royal Ballet performed Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, and the programme also included Agon but Nureyev did not dance in those works at either performance. Nureyev made his debut in Agon on 15 November 1973.
