The full programme was the Divertissement from Napoli, Flower Festival at Genzano pas de deux, Raymonda pas de deux, variations and coda, Les Sylphides and The Rite of Spring. Nureyev only performed in Les Sylphides. The first performance, on 3 May 1962, was a Gala in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and HRH The Princess Margaret, in aid of The Royal Ballet Benevolent Fund and The Royal Ballet School Endowment Fund.
